Jilin Qifeng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign Joint Venture Limited by Shares held by Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd. It mainly produces and sells three series of acrylic staple fiber, tow and top for over 150 types of acrylic products. The products are applied to produce carpet yarns, knitting yarns, toy plush, garment materials, imitated furs, etc. The company imports international first-class equipments and matching automatic equipments and check out test sets in 1990s from Italy and Germany, and adopts Italy Montefibre two-step wet spinning process. The production process is controlled by DCS in advanced level in the world.
    Jilin Qifeng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. was founded in December, 1995 and put into production in May, 1998 with total capacity of 60,000 tons/year and registered capital of 531,270,000 RMB. The annual capacity reached 136,000 tons in November, 2004 after two-time technical update. The company changed to foreign-invested shareholding company limited by shares with the registered capital of 630,000,000 RMB IN May, 2005. Jilin Qifeng was successfully listed on H Main Board of Hong Kong Exchange on June 21st, 2006 and the registered capital reached 866,250,000 RMB.
    The company was certificated by the Integration Management Systems of Quality, Environment and Occupation Health and Safety and the products were certificated by Switzerland Oeko Tex Standard 100 in November, 2004. The company got the titles of “Provincial High-tech Enterprise” and “Foreign-invested Enterprise with Advanced Technology”; the acrylic fiber equipments, the output and sales volume of top were listed as a new record among Chinese Enterprises (Sixth); “Baishan” Brand was awarded “China Famous Trademark”; the company was listed among “China 500 Top Foreign-invested Enterprises” in 2002. The company jointly invested together with Italy Montefibre, which is the third acrylic fiber manufacturer in the world to found Jilin JiMont Acrylic Fiber Co., Ltd. The design annual capacity is 150,000 tons. The first step was successfully started up in October, 2006 with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons. The combined annual capacity is 236,000 tons and will be extended to 286,000 tons. The company will become one of the acrylic fiber manufactures with highest cost benefit and profitability in the world.
